Plai has long been used in traditional Thai massage to treat joint and muscular pain, and it is more potent than Ginger oil.

Thailand, Indonesia, and India are home to this species. Plai essential oil is often more potent than other ginger-related oils. One significant distinction between Ginger and Plai is that Ginger is warming and stimulating, whereas Plai is cooling.

Plai contains powerful anti-inflammatory effects in addition to analgesic properties, and it is this that gives it its cooling effect. Plai has a cooling impact on pain and inflammation, making it a good choice for treating injuries, muscle and joint pain, and rheumatism.

Mix 1-3 drops of essential oil in 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, for a bath or foot soak. Remove from the equation. Fill a tub with warm water (deep enough to cover your feet and ankles). Immerse your feet for 10-15 minutes after adding the essential oil mixture and stirring carefully. Inhale the scent and massage your feet.

  • Spot application:

Combine 1-4 drops of essential oil with 1 teaspoon carrier oil or aloe vera, then apply to the affected region.

Mix 4-8 drops essential oil in 1 teaspoon carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, for a bath. Add 1-2 cups Epsom or Dead sea salts to your bath if you have muscle aches. Fill the tub halfway with warm water and relax. Massage your skin and inhale the scent. Stay in the tub for at least 10-15 minutes.

  • Diffusion:

To fill the air with a therapeutic aroma, follow the diffuser manufacturer’s recommendations. If you don’t have a diffuser, here are some simple alternatives: Place 2-4 drops of essential oil on multiple cotton balls or tissues and place nearby or in an air vent in your home or automobile. Massage: Mix 6-30 drops of essential oil in 1 ounce of carrier oil or fragrance-free, natural lotion before massaging.

  • Room Mist:

In a mister bottle, combine 30-60 drops of essential oil with 4 ounces of water. Before each usage, give it a good shake to avoid getting the mist in your eyes.
