The kaffir lime is a tropical fruit highly prevalent in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The kaffir plant is a thorny bush with uniquely curved leaves that grows up to 35 feet tall.

The kaffir lime fruit itself is tiny, measuring just approximately 4 cm in diameter. The kaffir lime is lime green in hue with a rough bumpy skin that turns yellow as it ripens.

In Thai tradition, the fruit is used for a variety of physical and spiritual healing uses in addition to cooking. It’s not uncommon to find a Kaffir lime inside a Thai home because it’s thought to fend off evil spirits!

Balancing Facial Oil (for oily skin)

Mix 2 drops Kaffir Lime with 1 tablespoon jojoba or grapeseed oil. Apply lightly to oily or acne-prone areas to help tone and balance the skin.

Clarifying Scalp Massage Oil

In a bowl, mix:

5 drops Kaffir Lime
5 drops Coconut or Sesame Oil
Optional: 1 drop Tea Tree for dandruff
Massage into the scalp, leave for 15–20 minutes, then wash. Helps soothe itchiness, remove buildup, and stimulate circulation.

Traditional Hair Rinse

Add 2 drops Kaffir Lime to 200ml of warm water + 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar. Pour over scalp after shampooing to refresh and tone.

Morning Clarity Diffuser Blend

Diffuse:

2 drops Kaffir Lime
2 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Peppermint
This combination helps clear the mind and energize your morning.
